Looking for words and terms? Listed are the terms that are either uniquely used within inLOGIC or commonly used in Sales Compensation in general.

Each information stored in Payee, Transaction, and Reference table can be defined by their own attributes. For example, when you enter an individual to the Payee table, the person has attributes like ID, Name, Username, and so on and so forth. And these attributes can be factored into commission rule writings.

The effective date specifies the date when the sales compensation rules and policies are executed. The effective date is different from the Start Date and/or the Transaction Date.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) refers to a business solution software that integrates various business activities such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc. in a suite of web-based or cloud-based application.

The Start Date indicates the date a user initiate the configuration of the system. This particular date has no relevance or impact on the Effective Date set in rule writings.

In general, the Transaction Date represents the time at which the ownership of the goods and services is transferred.
